Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.07% in August 31–Monday
MOSCOW, Sep 8 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation slowed down to 0.07% from August 31 through Monday from 0.09% in the previous week, and reached 4.75% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
Prices for buckwheat fell 0.01%, sugar prices grew 0.31%, sunflower seed oil by 0.09%, poultry by 0.41%, eggs by 0.05%, beef 0.82%, flour 0.23%.
Prices for fruit and vegetables decreased 0.8% on average, with prices for potatoes falling by 1.77%, for carrots by 3.45%, and for apples by 0.67%. Tomato prices increased 1.31%, cucumber by 1.04%.
Gasoline prices fell 0.3%, diesel fuel ones 0.1%.
